Who needs a laminator? A new update from Google is making it possible to store digital versions of either Covid-19 test results or vaccination records on Android devices. Commonly used to house important documents like boarding passes or tickets, this reimagination of the Passes API would allow developers at authorized health and governmental organizations to store vaccine related data directly on users’ devices. While Google has been careful to emphasize that this update in no way constitutes a “vaccine passport,” it does create an interesting new dynamic for the near-future of international travel or large-scale events.  Learn more

As we all get more comfortable with travel once again, it’s important we don’t get too comfortable with lax remote security. Before accessing sensitive information on the move, be sure that you have multi-factor authentication turned on and are able to connect through a secure network. If you’re unsure of the safety of your Wi-Fi, consider using a VPN or personal hotspot instead.

Domino’s has teamed up with sports-betting dynamo DraftKings in a new play to show off their speed. Harkening back to the pizza giant’s infamous “30-minutes or less policy,” the new promotion will allow DraftKings users to predict the percentage of carside orders that will actually be delivered in Domino’s promised two-minutes or less. The pot? Players with the best calls have a chance to win a share of $200,000.  Learn more
